COMO Christmas Lights (“we”, “us”, “our”) designs, installs and maintains Christmas lighting in and around Columbia. This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers columbiachristmaslightinstallation.com only.
The short version
- The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the quote form.
- We use no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking here.
- We do not sell your information.
- We use what you send to quote your job and to get back to you about it.
What you give us
The quote form asks for your name, your phone number, your email address, the street address, city and state of the property you want lit, and anything you choose to write in the message box. Everything except the message is required, because without it we cannot price the job or reach you.
Submitted alongside your answers is the page you sent the form from and which of our websites it came from, so we know which market the request belongs to. If you telephone us instead, we keep the same sort of details in our records.
What we do not collect
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media pixels. Nothing here builds a profile of you or follows you to other websites. If you never submit the form and never call, we do not know who you are.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, browser type, which pages were requested and when — for security and reliability. These are standard web server records rather than a tracking system, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Other companies involved
- Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers it to your browser.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Loading them means Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. No other Google service runs on this site.
- HighLevel (LeadConnector) is the customer system that receives your quote request and stores it so we can follow it up.
Each of those companies handles data under its own privacy policy.
How we use what you send
- To prepare a quote for the property you asked about
- To contact you about that quote and arrange a time to measure
- To schedule and carry out installation, in-season repairs and January takedown
- To keep a record of work done at your property, which makes a second season quicker
- To answer questions and sort out problems
Calls, texts and email
Giving us your phone number on the quote form is how you ask us to get back to you, and we will — by phone, by text, or by email — about the request you made. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop it at any time: reply STOP to a text, or tell us on a call, and we will stop.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anybody else’s advertising. We share it only:
- with the crew or subcontractor assigned to your property, so they can find it and do the work;
- with the service providers named above, which handle it on our behalf;
- where the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and customer records while we are doing business with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for warranty, tax and accounting purposes. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Call (573) 515-3555. Depending on where you live, state law may give you further rights over your personal information; tell us what you want and we will handle the request under whichever law applies to you.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and form submissions are transmitted securely to our customer system. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure and we cannot promise otherwise — but this website never asks for or handles payment card details.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will appear on this page and the date at the top will change with it.
