Rocheport doesn't do anything halfway. The whole town is a short walk — river bluffs on one side, the Katy Trail running through, streets lined with houses that were already old when your great-grandparents were young. In December, when frost sits on the bottomland and the trail goes quiet, a single lit porch on those streets looks like something off a postcard rack. A whole block of them looks like the reason people drive out from Columbia on a Sunday night.

That's the thing about lighting Rocheport: the town does half the work for you. Our job is to add the glow without bruising what's already there.

Old houses ask for a gentler install

A century-old fascia board is not the place for staples, nails, or anybody's guesswork. We hang everything with clips sized to your trim and gutters, we walk steep old rooflines with the right equipment and real insurance, and when the season ends we leave no mark behind — that's the whole point. Wreaths on tall windows, garland along a porch rail, warm white C9s tracing a gable that was framed by hand in another century: that look suits this town better than anything blinking ever could.

We're happy to work around the practical stuff old buildings throw at us, too — limited outlets, plaster walls nobody should drill, a porch ceiling you'd rather we not touch. Tell us the house's quirks and we'll design around them.

Rocheport's B&Bs, wedding venues, tasting rooms, and antique storefronts earn their keep in the cold months partly on charm. Lights are charm you can schedule. We install early — before your holiday bookings arrive — set everything on timers, and handle any mid-season fix so a dark strand never greets a guest. One call in the summer, and your building glows on cue from Thanksgiving to New Year's.
